A Petition for Volpe to resign from Liberal leadership

For all you Liberals embarassed by Joe Volpe's continuous sleazy behavior, I've created a petition, to demand he quit the Liberal leadership race before he embarasses the party more.

here it is

Um, where is the French version of the petition? I refuse to sign anything that isn't bilingual.

Maybe Volpe was on to something with his WASP conspiracy theories.

Mon Francais est tres mauvais. J'etude le francais dans l'ecole secondarie, mais j'oublier mon francais. If I could speak French, it would be bilingual. If you wish to provide a translation for me, I will happily put up a French version.

Maybe Volpe was on to something with his WASP conspiracy theories.

Give me a break. The Liberal Party is the party that introduced multiculturalism, bilingualism, is probably the most pro-immigrant party anywhere in the world. Volpe just cannot accept that he has been unethical.

Opionater777, I haven't been following the race. Considering the Greens are largely irrelevant in terms of having zero chance at winning the next election or holding the balance of power, I haven't followed it that closely.

That fact that you even have to make a petition to get rid of Volpe should tell you something about the liberal party. He has attempted to commit fraud not once, but twice now in this leadership campain (not to mention the pizza scandal a few years ago) and the liberal party still won't get rid of him. This proves they are unfit to be in charge of this country if they would let a known fraud artist run for the leader of their party and potentialy be the PM of this country. Haven't liberals learned anything? Instead of making a petition you all should be raging mad at the whole liberal party for allowing this to continue and possibly rethinking your loyalty to this corrupt party.

No they are fit to be in charge of Canada again. I don't condone some of the unethical behavior and I want to change it from within, but lets remember the Tories have also done some unethical things as well. I will vote in the next election for which party is closest to my values and although my values probably lie somewhere in between the Liberal Party and Conservative Party, I am choosing to go for the party I trust, versus the unknown which I fear.

Stealing taxpayers money, taking donations from kids to get around campain finance LAWS and signing up dead people is way beyond unethical, it's outright fraud. And the entire liberal party doesn't seem to have a problem with it. You sound like you have some kind of "battered wife syndrome" with the liberal party if you would support that out of fear of the unknown.

Yes it is unethical and perhaps fraudalent if Volpe was directly involved which hasn't been proven. But to tar the whole Liberal Party with this is completely inappropriate.

I've good reasons to fear the unknown. After seeing the destruction neo-conservatism has caused in the United States, I don't want to see these type of policies take root in Canada. I should note the Bush administration is far more corrupt than the Liberals have ever been, so considering the Tories admire these guys, I think they are being hypocrits.
